First, we have the possibility of at least 1 silkie rooster.
Next, we have 2 Polish possible roosters. The first a golden laced Polish and the next a white crested black polish.
Next, we have 2 Golden laced Wyandottes. They are very pretty, close to your traditional rooster.
Next we have 2 Partridge Cochin Rooster. Close to the same marking just fluffier and not quite as bright colors.
So...We are thinking 4 roosters should be our max, that means 3 have got to go or turn out to be hens. We will have 19 or so hens and 4 roosters. What is your vote?
Do you think the other bigger roosters will leave the silkies alone and won't have a rooster fight?
ReplyDeleteIf they won't kill each other, then 1 silkie, one golden-laced Polish dog, white-crested Polish dog and a Partridge in a Pear Tree!
Oops!
ReplyDeleteI might have gotten those names mixed up!
O.K. well I would keep the polish roosters. Just think of all the polish jokes you could blog!
ReplyDeleteI like the white crested ones. I think that the headress makes them look like they should be the king.
ReplyDeleteWow how to choose. Sad that you have to get rid of some. Could you just get rid of one of each. You had down that you only had one silky so keep that one and then one of the two on your others. I hope that made sense. Let us know what you decide to do.
